Tambuwal Attends Walima for 75 Qur’an Graduates in Sokoto

Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, over the weekend attended a Walima ceremony held in honour of 75 graduates of the Holy Qur’an at Madarasatul Hajiya Aisha Hizburahim in the Kauran Malam Garba area of Arkilla District.

The event celebrated the successful completion of Qur’anic studies by the students of the school, which was established in memory of the senator’s late mother, Hajiya Aisha, to preserve her legacy of education, discipline, and moral upbringing.
Speaking during the occasion, Senator Tambuwal noted that the institution, founded in 2021 by his cousin, Abdullahi Moyi Tambuwal, has recorded remarkable progress within a short period. He commended the management, teachers, and students for their dedication and commitment to Qur’anic education.

The senator also reaffirmed his continued support for the school and its activities, stressing the importance of religious and moral instruction in building a responsible and disciplined society.
He offered prayers for the departed, asking Allah to bless the memories of parents and grant them Al-Jannatul Firdaus as their final abode.
