The governor of Kano State, Abba Yusuf, has fixed another date for defection from New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, after a series of postponements.
DAILY NIGERIAN reliably gathered that the governor announced the defection date past midnight Thursday during a closed-door meeting with members of the Kano State House of Assembly.
A participant of the meeting who pleaded anonymity told this newspaper that the governor has fixed Saturday for resignation from NNPP, Sunday for declaration of joining the APC and Monday for collection of membership card.
