Prior to the upcoming 2023 general election, the young progressive party Sokoto state chapter inaugurated its 23 local government chairman in Sokoto state.
During the inauguration, Youth in Sokoto state have been advised to support the young progressive party, in order to actualize their dreams.
Speaking National chairman of the party Bishop Amakiri represented by chairman kebbi state chapter of the party Ahmad shehu made the call at the inauguration of the 23 local government chairman of the party in the state.
Amakiri praises the state chapter of the party in the state particularly in the area of youth mobilization, education as well as enlightenment on political activities especially the upcoming general election.
Also speaking, Assistant secretary of the party
Gazali Aliyu Dan Tsoho advised the youth to shun money politics to maintain their integrity and also to curb the menace bedeviling the country particularly on leadership, securing lives and properties of the citizens among others.
He added that, this is the hightime of the youth to shine their eyes in ensuring a good governance in the state and the country at large as they constitute about 60% of the country's population.
Gazali also Called on the newly inaugurated chairman to justify the confidence repost on them.
In their separate remarks newly inagurated chairmen, Sulaiman Ahmad of illela local government, Ahmad Muhammad Binji and muhammad nafiu muhammad of Isa loca government assured to give full support for the desired objectives of the party to be achieved.
