2023: POPULATION AND HOUSING CENSUS; COMOs, COMPTROLLER'S RECEIVE CAPACITY BUILDING IN JIGAWA

As part of effort to ensure an all inclusive 2023 population and housing census, the National Population Commission (NPC) in collaboration with National Orientation Agency (NOA), Jigawa State has conducted a one day capacity building for Community Orientation and Mobilization Officers (COMOs) of NOA and Local Government Comptrollers of NPC.
The one day capacity building dwelled extensively at acquainting the officers with the process and methodology for the 2023 PHC with focus on the technological innovations therein.
The director NOA Jigawa office mallam Haruna Karamba appreciated the efforts of NPC for their collaboration towards training COMOs, and local government controllers of the NPC in preparation of the 2023 population and Housing census.
He urged the participants to discharge their duties elegantly so that the exercise will succeed without any shortcomings.
Highlights of the training also include how the #NOA COMOs will carry out robust public mobilization and enlightenment campaigns towards the forthcoming Population and Housing Census.
