2023 General Elections:VP Yemi Osinbajo Visits Zamfara APC Stakeholders

Ahead of 2023 general elections in Nigeria,  Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, and a  Presidential Aspirant of All Progressives Congress (APC) has visited Zamfara APC stakeholders and  held a tete a tete  meeting with Zamfara delegates.

 
Answering questions from journalists in Gusau, shortly after the meeting,  Vice President said the secret meeting he held with them is aimed at consulting them to seek for their supports in the forthcoming party primaries, as according to him the meeting is successful.
 
He said, he also had a fruitful discussions with other party members on matters that concern the unity of the APC in the state.
 
The Vice President was delighted  over the warm reception accorded him on arrival by members of the APC in the state.
 
In a related development, Osinbajo also held a meeting with the Zamfara state Council of Chiefs, led by the Emir of Anka, Alhaji Attahiru Ahmed.
 
Speaking during the meeting, Alhaji Attahiru Ahmed  appealled to the federal government to provide constitutional role to traditional rulers.
 
Ahmed said providing the traditional rulers a constitutional role would promote peace and security in their domains and law and order in the entire country.
 
He urged the federal government to provide more support to the state government to end the lingering security challenges in Zamfara.
