2023: APC Restates Commitment To Sports Development In Niger

The APC Gubernatorial Flag bearer for Niger State, Hon. Mohammed Umar Bago has restated his commitment to the promotion and support of grassroots sports as the 1st edition of the Bago Support Organisation's Basketball championship comes to an end.
The Grand Finale, which held yesterday, 3rd September, 2022, at the Progress Basketball Court adjacent Father O'Connell Science Secondary School, Minna, wrapped up the series of basketball activities, which commenced earlier last month with qualifiers, knockouts and the finals.
In his remarks, Hon. Mohammed Bago stressed that he will continue to support grassroots sports development in the state as part of his mission to empowered our young ones through sports for the overall development of the State.
“Let me use this opportunity to reiterate our commitment to developing talents, enforcing a healthier lifestyle, and instilling values and lessons for success in life through this Championship. This Championship and other sport tournaments that we intends to sponsore, will continue to provide opportunities for developing qualities including leadership skills, ability to work in a team, perseverance, courage, self-belief, and respect in our youths. I'm grateful to BSO and our partners for a successful hosting of this event." Hon Bago noted.
